About Capriza

Capriza allows you to create a lightweight mobile app for any business technology solution you use. As you navigate through a web page, Capriza translates your desktop behavior into a mobile app that we call a "Zapp." There’s no coding required and you can publish your app on iOS, Android, or a Blackberry (though, who uses a Blackberry nowadays?). At this point, you’re probably wondering, ‘what sort of voodoo magic is this?’ Technically speaking, there’s no actual magic involved, but we won’t tell if you won’t. Using a series of complicated algorithms, we scan the underlying source code of the attributes of a website you’re interacting with, like a search box or a particular link, and then make those available to you via your phone. When you access the Zapp later, we dynamically pull that information again and show it to you. If you’re interested, take a look at this video to see how we created a Yahoo! Finance Zapp.

As Erli Birds, you’ll be some of the first (and potentially the coolest) users of our Builder, the browser window that helps you create your Zapps. We’re looking for a group of like-minded technophiles to create a bunch of Zapps and provide us with feedback on how to improve the product. In return, you’ll earn a year of free usage (the current plan is to introduce a paywall sometime in the near future from which you’ll be exempt). You’ll also get priority access to some of our stellar employees if you want to share your thoughts on the Zapp creation process.
